As I think I previously blogged I am the worlds worst in sticking to any kind of skin regime ... this requires a form of comitment that I am only ever willing to give in the morning... evening its a face wipe to remove the days make up and then off to bed I'm afraid (ashamed) to say.

So when I was given the Liz Earle hot cloth and polish face wash I wasnt sure if I was going to actually be able to stick to this as you are given two muslin cloths and the product which always suggests more work than your average face wash.

To use this product you:

Step 1: Massage 1 or 2 pumps ( I find one is generally enough) gently onto dry skin over face and neck. Free from mineral oil, its rich and creamy texture swiftly removes all traces of face and eye make-up, including stubborn mascara. - the removing mascara I love as if like me you remove your mascara with the awful wipes you are always left with the reminants in the morning!

Step 2: Rinse the pure muslin cloth in hand-hot water and wring out before gently polishing off the cream to gently remove dead skin cells and help reveal clean, soft and radiant skin.
Splash face with cool clean water and follow with Instant Boost Skin Tonic and your choice of moisturiser.

Ingredients:

Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao)
This rich, creamy butter which has moisturising effects on the skin is made from the roasted seeds of the cocoa tree, the same seeds that give us chocolate and cocoa
.

Hops Extract (Humulus lupulus)
This herbal extract comes from the pinecone-like fruit of the hop plant and has astringent and toning properties.

Rosemary Essential Oil/Extract (Rosmarinus officinalis)
This renowned and once sacred herb has been used for centuries in beauty preparations. Rosemary essential oil has a fresh pungent aroma and is very invigorating and stimulating. The extract has beneficial antioxidant properties.

Chamomile Essential Oil/Extract (Anthemis nobilis)
This herb takes its name from the Greek kamai (ground) and melon (apple) because of the sweet apple-like fragrance it releases when trodden on. The essential oil is considered a gentle oil by aromatherapists and medical herbalists have used chamomile for soothing the skin for centuries.

Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Eucalyptus globulus)
Native to Australia, eucalyptus shoots are a favourite food of the koala. The cooling essential oil produced from the leaves and twigs has decongestant properties and is used by aromatherapists to ease muscular aches and pains.

D-panthenol
Otherwise known as pro-vitamin B5, this B vitamin is necessary for the normal functioning of the skin and has a moisturising effect. It also helps stimulate cellular renewal.

Glycerin
The glycerin we use is always vegetable derived. It is a humectant (attracts water), drawing atmospheric water onto the skin to aid hydration.

Beeswax (Cera alba)
The beeswax used in Naturally Active Skincare comes from the honeycombs in which bees store their pollen. It has skin protecting properties and helps to relieve chapped skin.

All these lovely ingredients have meant I have seen a change in my skin within three days and am officially a convert! By change I mean, I can visibly see that my breakouts have been minamised and are only lasting for a couple of days. my skin feels plumper and revitalised which I love and this beautiful British weather at the moment will be the test of this product. If it can keep this up in the cold and not look chapped or dry I think we will have an all time winner here!
The product smell is slightly lavender which I am loving at the moment as it is helping me to stay calm in the mornings!
I would recommend this to all to try as I am sure from my absolute adoration of the product you will love it too! They now sell the brand in John Lewis @ £13 for this product. I'm in love with it so give it a try and let me know what you think!x
